Wow. So many styles. So many artists with trains each with their own unique way of expressing themselves through their layout. It is so much fun for me looking carefully at the pictures and thinking about all the planning and work that goes into even the smallest area of real estate. Simply great stuff. Following are a few evening shots of my layout.

Strogey.  As you can see I have tons of work to do with this layout. Today my son and I went to menard's  and picked up 2 more sheets of the sound board that I needed. and I also picked up another gallon of paint to complete all the bench work. So I'd probably have 90% of the track down now and will have the rest done in a week or so.  Then comes the fun part that I'll love to do is wire the layout. I love seeing you or any  one out there having fun with there legs and including them in a photo. And I'll try to smile in the next photo I take.  I still have some up coming DR  visits to take care of and hopefully get this leg to fit properly .  Take care  Strogey

Hey Jon,  ( Morning)

, thanks,  Just a mental block, of having 1 road, on a track for long time,

You recognize, every sound, and it has to be right. I  was doing it last night,

just the steam engine weight making a different track noise>

Another question,  I have no grass yet, and well again I like your presentation,

What's the grass products, ????   thanks !!!

Nice to see so many great pix from O gauge modelers! To each his own is what I subscribe to and agree with an earlier comment about all layouts having something cool to focus on. I really like seeing what people continue to do with postwar-style equipment and the newer systems and how they focus, with an eye to pre-80s style. It wasn't that long ago that people like Phil Klopp and others wowed OGR and CTT viewers with shots of his gorgeous postwar layouts. In those days, it seemed impossible to duplicate that kind of competence, but so many guys (and gals) now have the ability to amaze others with their take on layout building...
