Great sense of humor, Strogey!
Here's one more closeup, a tranquil park scene, on my layout.

Wow. So many styles. So many artists with trains each with their own unique way of expressing themselves through their layout. It is so much fun for me looking carefully at the pictures and thinking about all the planning and work that goes into even the smallest area of real estate. Simply great stuff. Following are a few evening shots of my layout.
Neat pictures Jeff!!!

Just keeps getting better!

What mfg made that nifty looking little TOC19 PRR 2-8-0?
Thanks Laming.
Last weekend before hosting TCA North Texas Chapter Meeting.6 years in and a long way to go yet.
Layout's looking good, Dave.
Strogey. As you can see I have tons of work to do with this layout. Today my son and I went to menard's and picked up 2 more sheets of the sound board that I needed. and I also picked up another gallon of paint to complete all the bench work. So I'd probably have 90% of the track down now and will have the rest done in a week or so. Then comes the fun part that I'll love to do is wire the layout. I love seeing you or any one out there having fun with there legs and including them in a photo. And I'll try to smile in the next photo I take. I still have some up coming DR visits to take care of and hopefully get this leg to fit properly . Take care Strogey
Terry,
Everything I own is set for O-31 curves and switches. Longest passenger cars I have are a set of Lionel Irvington cars. The outer loop is O-42, the inner is O-31. I have a ton of trains on the walls, so yes, I switch our consists all the time!
Jon
Hey Jon, ( Morning)
, thanks, Just a mental block, of having 1 road, on a track for long time,
You recognize, every sound, and it has to be right. I was doing it last night,
just the steam engine weight making a different track noise>
Another question, I have no grass yet, and well again I like your presentation,
What's the grass products, ???? thanks !!!
This 4 x 7, 4 tier display with five loops was built back in January. I’m about ready to dismantle it and create a 5 X 8, 6 tier display with eight loops and a trolley line. Still haven’t decided whether or not to incorporate two operating water fountains into the new display.
Mine is home to predominantly Marx with three loops and a trolley line.
The other is just for clockworks..still a-building..
Terry,
There are various shades of Woodland Scenics "Turf" that mix from brown to green, sprinkled over dirt-brown wet paint.
They go from a brownish-mix near the tracks...
To a much greener shade around the Plasticville homes up on the hill:
Hope this helps!
Jon
Thank you Steve for answering my question about your nice looking Consolidated!
Andre
Here's some of mine, most of these pics are older but the layout hasn't really changed much since they were taken.
Nice to see so many great pix from O gauge modelers! To each his own is what I subscribe to and agree with an earlier comment about all layouts having something cool to focus on. I really like seeing what people continue to do with postwar-style equipment and the newer systems and how they focus, with an eye to pre-80s style. It wasn't that long ago that people like Phil Klopp and others wowed OGR and CTT viewers with shots of his gorgeous postwar layouts. In those days, it seemed impossible to duplicate that kind of competence, but so many guys (and gals) now have the ability to amaze others with their take on layout building...
Things are pretty quiet in the Maryville Yard as PRR RS11 #8618 crosses the Suziana River with a mixed freight. Bo
Thanks JON, ( grass scenery)
For some directional info, as I think Hobby Lobby carries this vendor!
