@Joe Rampolla- I agree with Bob, a great custom build. Love it!

Thanks!  Since this idea is in the public domain now, I hope Menard's can run with it (in some variation).  The Menard's inspection truck is a "diamond in the ruff."  Just like the Lionel Snoopy handcar, once you learn its quirks, it's a piece of cake (or lasagna).

Take care, Joe.

A late entry to close out the weekend celebrating 248 years of independence, but I dug this out as I went through nearly all my O gauge trains the last few days to sort what stays and what goes.  While most of my "shorty" Pullman sleepers will go, I really like this car and I plan on keeping in my collection.  One of the more interesting late K-Line passenger cars.

20240704_104722I don't have any patriotic trains and my layout isn't even close to complete having started it over after a move last year BUT I have been wanting to pull out a few people and something other than pickups to populate my towns. So, today I give you a 4th of July parade along Main St. The crazy thing is that when looking for every day parade loving citizens, I discovered that I have an abundance of track workers, station personnel, construction and city workers, dock workers etc. It's a good thing that most of my layout will be industrial.

Happy Independence Day!20240704_10473820240704_104738

Mikki, I was reviewing all the wonderful posts for this 4th of July weekend and realized that two of your photos are not showing.
