Either side of the Great lost lake, Lake Champlain, there are more trees, bears, and moose than people.   Apparently trees, bears, and moose need cell reception also. 

Two year ago, Mt. Mansfield, Vermont.  A lot of hardware on top of a beautiful mountain.

Applies to Airplanes and those Amtrak metal cans. Tough to get any electromegnetic radiation equipment to work inside those metal cans. You would think there is antenna provisions inside those modes of transportation.
