Just opened the oval lighted Fast Track box.
How do I get power to the track?
There is a straight section for power but I do not have the kind of plug that goes in it.
Is there a connector that fits the power track that has pigtail two wire to connect to my transformer?
I do have the Lionel 6-12053.
Can I use it and if so, to what do I connect it?
The lighted track has an enclosed underside.

Jeff, if you unscrew the bottom plate of a straight section of track, it's only 6 small screws, you can simply connect the Lionel 6-12053 Fastrack Power Wires to the tabs like normal. The track works great at constant voltage for my Lion Chief 2.0 Lionel Lines 773.

For those with LionChief and similar locos, this is the 72 watt power supply that is the upgrade on the lower wattage supply that comes with sets. It's equipped with the RCA connector that is designed for the terminal track.

Thank you all for the fast and sound advice.
You helped me in getting this up and running, along with my 7-year-old grandson from Boulder CO, and placed around the tree.
He loves it, and so do all the grown-ups.
I apologize for not letting you know earlier, but between work and holiday airport/train station runs, there has been little time.
I might get the 72 watt power supply for next year. Right now, I am using two of the little blue MPC transformers that came with basic sets in the 70's, to run the train and Christmas house and swing set under the tree.
You all made this a great Christmas tree train and easy for us to make it work.
