We had created a double decker platform at the center front of The VintageHubby's new WideGauge/Standard Gauge on-the-floor Basement Toy Train Layout.

Having two platforms was generally a great idea; more train real estate, a place to showcase some things.... another albeit small loop of track for another train set, all good.

However, that plunged the bottom platform into complete darkness. Big questions ensued- how to light it? How much light would be needed? And how best to accomplish this task at hand? I thought of creating a string of lights attached under the bottom of the upper platform.

Nation Wide Lines to the rescue- Hooray! He had ten small sockets and white bulbs, would we be interested in them? Yippee. The results are fabulous, I am thrilled. Cannot, wait to detail this space. May add some track as a non-working large-ish siding with a couple of 511 or 211 flat cars with special loads, to flesh out things around the AF Freight Station with crane.
