I run the Polar Express Berkshire as well as the Berk in the Pocono set on O27 track. Will the new LC+ Berks also run on O27? Are they all the same loco; i.e. baby Berks?
My LC+ Berk will go around 0-27 but it really doesn't like it, hence I don't usually run it there.
My Postwar 726RR also will go around 0-27 but, due to the angle of a switch in relation to a curve, has a tendency to derail on the switch. It the switch wasn't there, it'd do just fine.
Stick with the Junior/Baby Berks like the PE. I have 2 and they handle O27 without issue. My WBB Berk is like the original and modern LC+ Berks and struggles on O27.
They do make 42", 54", and 72" curves for O27 track. 42" is easy to find and would give you many more options.
Max made 34" curves decades ago but it often comes up for sale.
