The new LM Challenger has a smoke whistle but there is nothing in the manual about
where to add smoke fluid for the whistle or the switches under the engine for the
whistle smoke.
The manual calls for Lionel 6-37841 fluid for warranty coverage. None comes with the engine.
Where can you get Lionel smoke fluid?

I saw that run at a local hobby shop, I was told there is one input for both.
The fluid they want you to use is Lionel Premium available at your lhs or online.
there are 2 stacks, when its cold, put about 15 to 20 in each stack, this takes care of the smoke and smoking whistle.....Use Lionel Premium Smoke Fluid for WARRANTY....1 Year Warranty. The smoke element gets HOT.....I would imagine you can get this special smoke fluid at a Lionel Dealer..... Enjoy, this is one fine engine.....Merry Christmas to You.....
LIONEL and Trainworld maybe... Might want to get JT Mega Steam, the Ginger bread scent is pretty good. Smoke for the Whistle connects to the regular smoke unit and maybe the switches are in one of the domes.
The instructions tell you to put fluid in both stacks. No other place needed to put fluid. The switches are on the bottom of the engine. Make sure both are turned on. My 2 lion masters smoke like crazy. The stack takes care of the whistle steam .
