I've seen a couple of YouTube videos on this Locomotive, but haven't found one which addresses a question I have.

The loco only had two collector rollers; does it have issues with stalling going through switches? I ask because I bought a K-Line two truck Shay which also has only two collector rollers (one on each truck) and it cannot negotiate O036 switches without a high risk of losing electrical contact.

I see that the two on the 0-6-0T have the collectors mounted on the frame while the shay has them on the trucks - would this make any difference in electrical pick-up through switches?

Any small motorized locomotive with two pickups may have issues with some switches.  This locomotive happens to do pretty well through my Ross switches, I just ran it through the Double-Slip switches, as well as the O96/O72 curved switch in both paths, and it didn't miss a beat.  The DS switches do have a relay to energize the center dead rails, but without the relay, a whole host of locomotives stall on them, so that's not an indictment of this particular locomotive.

For many small steamers, I've added a roller to the tender to maximize the reliability over switches.
