I am thinking of building a Shelf Layout to go around my office. The room is 50x30, anyone have any idea if the 72Watt Power they have for Fastrack would power that much track or should I use a 180W brick. Only running one train. Just thought the LionChief Remote would be an inexpensive and easy to use way to run the train up there. Also, I assume I would need to have several power drops around the room, whats a good bet on suffecient drops?

If you have good conductivity to the track, the 72 watt power supply would probably do the trick. One LionChief doesn't draw that much power. If not, you can always upgrade later.
I'd probably consider a drop every 12-15 feet. An easy way would be to run the bus wire under the track and just connect as needed. Since you're talking around 160 feet of track, I'd use #14 or #12 for the power bus to minimize the voltage drop at the far end.
The problem with that power supply is that it has the barrel plug for the LionChief terminal track.
Wire cutters fix that.
