I ordered the ORANGE neon tube version, which is currently available. The blue neon 115th Anniversary clock is on back order until October. Does these operate off 110 AC? If you have one, how do you like it?

My understanding is that actual neon tubes require a high-frequency transformer similar to a Tesla coil?
Art,
From what I've read. It is powered from a wall wart.
Hi Guys,
I have one in my train room, the clock itself is powered by battery. The neon blub is powered by electric. See photos below.

Happy Pappy:
Also, THANKS!
At 73, and on dialysis, I am also on the "Back Nine"!
Alex,
Since you have the "old" 100th Anniversary edition. When you order your new 115th Anniversary edition. Will you send your "old" out-dated clock to me? (Cuz it's so purty )
Art,
We're the same age. It's the trains that keep us going. Not to mention this wonderful Forum.
And the beat goes on. Art and Pappy, sorry to read these posts.

It is what it is. As Pappy stated, we have our trains and this forum!
Personally, I prefer the traditional logo over the 115th Anniversary one.
Like the anniversary clock, it is also made (assembled?) in the USA, doubtless with some imported materials.
I also prefer the orange neon tube, that being the predominant color on the traditional postwar boxes.
