Only if they are scale before the conversion.

The plastic Lionel 2 bay ACF hopper goes back to the late 1980s or early 90s.  It may have OK overall dimensions but it is not very detailed.

The MTH 2 bay ACF Centerflow came out in 2000.  The latest versions have upgraded detail with wire grab irons and Kadee mounting pads.  With MTH 2 rail trucks the Kadees come out at correct height without shims.

The K-Line K6242 extruded aluminum 2 bay ACF hopper is a nice car.  They have wire grab irons and metal running boards.

Thanks for the useful reply!

A little too modern for my planned pike tho I have a few cars that I'm gonna run for my modern train in the outdoor O scale.   I'll have to keep an eye out for the K-line cars since these cars are still super popular for rock salt and shingle granules.
