I inquired about this here a few months back and recall one of the forum sponsors saying that these cars were delayed. Haven't heard anything further since. 
At this point, I can't help but wonder if we might have seen the end of that series? And now that a new set of players are making the decisions, it's just not part of their grand plan anymore. That kind of stuff tends to happen. Just thinking out loud.

At Toy Fair, Lionel said the 2014 Dealer Appreciation car was scheduled to be shipped in March 2015. They also said that the 2015 Dealer Appreciation car would be shipped towards the end of 2015.

Stu, that's certainly more encouraging news.
I recall last year's car made a surprise appearance on Lionel's website shipping schedule. But the 2014 car has been a bit shy in that regard.
