The Vision Line version of the Hudson. It wouldn't actually be Vision now, and shouldn't be priced as such, since those features have filtered down into other engines.

And with some variety, other than NYC. No centipede PT, or Vanderbilt tenders. A lot of other Hudsons have been made with those, including the J3a's with all the squabbling about the lights. Lets see some other road names, prototypical or not.

Personally, I would like to see one as the Santa Fe warhorse Hudson, disc wheels, standard 6-wheel tender, maybe the polar express type. Not the NYC type with the long coal load. The weathering could be optional.

It's been 10 years for the VL style Hudson, it's due.

By the same token of what many have been saying, its time for the F40 to come back. It would be great to see new paint schemes like VIA, MTA, and Grand Canyon. Maybe even new cabbage schemes?  In 2017 I asked lionel on a facebook live if they had any plans to do a New Jersey Transit one, and it was hinted that the tooling was available but the licencing was still needed.... Also, that Amtrak cab controlled amfleet car that hasn't seen the face of a catalog since 2010 would be a great seller if it had the functionality of a cabbage. If the niche is there, I'd also say Legacy HHP-8s. As for a new tooling, something like the Legacy H10; variety of features, no 072 min curve requirement, but also doesn't break the bank.

Heck why not? In fact, I would like to see some of these scale locomotives in Lionel Lines!☺

I’m not hoping for anything, but if a scale Legacy Lionel Lines Hudson should happen to be included in this upcoming catalog, it would certainly get my attention.  Heck, a Lionel Lines Lionmaster LC+ 2.0 version, using the Lionmaster NYC Hudson tooling (if that is possible) would be okay too.

I like your thinking.  I would love to see a detailed yet affordable Lionel Lines Lionmaster Locomotives.  Two things I like about "Lionel Lines" locomotives:

- Its traditional

- Because it is in a sense "generic" you can pull any railroads rolling stock behind it.

I think the Lionmaster Hudson is the best looking traditional-sized steam engine built in the modern era. Seems like a no-brainer for the new LC+2.0. If not that model, how about the K-line semi-scale Hudson. That's a close 2nd to the Lionmaster for us semi-scalers.

About scale locomotives in Lionel Lines.

The last issue (2014) of the scale S2 Turbine had a Lionel Lines version.

When the Lionelville & Western RR debuted I thought it was to be the scale version of Lionel Lines. Not much has been made though. A Northeastern caboose and an 0-8-0 was made in 2012.

Over the past 15 years with at times various rumors of a "DNR" in place for this highly detailed and selectively compressed product line I'm glad that Lionel has kept their Lionmaster semi-scale line on life support and did not completely pull the plug.  Besides the SD80/90 diesels, they've reissued w/ Legacy or LC+2 the Big Boy (2x), class A, challenger and T-1, BUT I still must ask @Conrail6358 (Ryan K.) and @Dave Olson why hasn't Lionel reissued their great looking and popular Lionmaster Hudson (2004) or CabForward (2007) with either Legacy or their (TMCC enhanced/Legacy LITE) LC+2 electronics?  Both the Hudson and cab-fwd have a very strong secondary market demand and it's been almost a generation since we've seen a new version.  In addition to their respective original issued roadnames, I imagine both these models would be popular with a "Lionel Lines" roadname option.

It would be good to see a Lionmaster steam offering once every 3 to 4 years ...especially now that the future of MTH's Railking line is imperiled.  Depending on how things settle out... maybe Lionel could license or rent some of the Railking tooling and produce those items with Lionel's electronics?  Lionel did similar with a number of the K-Line scale tooling.

I'm not normally a Lionel buyer, but have no bias against the company.

Personally I'd like to see more 21" Budd cars, but have them sold as individual cars and not as sets.  For example, I'd like to add some coaches and they did a nice job with those.  I'd also like to see them make a Budd baggage / dorm, not a baggage  / coach.  I don't need any more observations, diners, or dome cars at this time so the sets don't appeal to me much.

Like GG1 4877, I am not really a Lionel modeler or fan, but I will admit their subway sets are fantastic. I missed the boat earlier with the R27, R30 & R16 sets. I hoping a rerun of the R27/R30 would be in the works especially in the Redbird paint scheme. And I'm still hoping for some more Post GOH modern stuff like the R38, R42, R44/46, R68 and maybe a R160. I like their M7's but think it's time for Lionel to really put that MTA license to work!

1. LionChief Plus 2.0 Santa Fe Warbonnet F3 AA Set (separate from the 120th Anniversary Set), with an optional, powered matching B unit

2. LionMaster/LC+ 2.0 Northern 4-8-4 Steam Locomotives - Santa Fe #3751 would be AMAZING

3. Another round of traditional-sized Madison passenger car sets - Santa Fe would be nice, but as you can tell, I'm a little biased.

4. Honestly, I'd really like my 2019 Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 orders first before considering buying anything else...
