SO I get this today...pretty sweet loco..anyway it comes with three different snap on smoke stack caps, they seem almost too tight to fit and so I'm asking, does anyone know how they are supposed to fit before I jam into the smoke stack pipe?

See this video at 7:06. If the o-ring still seems tight use a drop of smoke fluid to lube it up
thanks
Duh. How about you need to remove the standard stack and replace with the other ones!
Hey Zack - great review - thank you 👍🏼
I’ve got the Santa Fe 5022 and I can’t wait to run it - Thx again
..and while we are at it...why cant i change the light color on the tender like you are supposed be able to like on the engine?
Pretty simple you’d have to have marker lights on the rear of the tender in order to change the color. As far as I can tell even the Santa Fe didn’t have markers on the tender.
But if there was makers to change or turn on/off. You’d press and hold “Aux 2” until you get the lighting menu and you’d use the marker lamp icon that has a “T” in it for the “tender” lights 😉
you are correct..I thought that the rear direction light could change from red to white Not so
No problem a lot of times Lionel likes copy and paste for features and can be confusing as to what features each locomotives have.
