I recently found in a container the other day the above powered A unit and a dummy A Unit along with a 2343 C dummy B unit. These are lettered for the SF. I have no clue when I got them or who I bought them from, it was a Forum member I know that but the rest is fuzzy so that means I've had them for at least 5 to 8 years. The powered A unit is in bad need of some TLC, especially some grease, I did oil the axels but I'm not sure how to get it apart so that I can put some grease in it. Hopefully, that will smooth it down some and make it run a little bit more quiet. Does anyone or can someone please point me to where I can find the manual on these.
Can someone supply the years these units were made, so far, (with fingers crossed) that dreaded Zinc Rot hasn't stricken these yet. They appear to have had a good amount of play time but seemed to be pretty well taken care of. What would be the best way to clean these up without destroying the paint job and striping on them.
