just saw these on ebay and couldn’t resist them, they will look a treat with the Hudson on O27

However they are heavy things! They have cast trucks with a roller on each truck.. they appear to have been on display a long time and although I’ve applied some WD40 and contact cleaner, the rolling resistance is considerable. 

My modern 0-8-0 can hardly move them! The Scout 2-4-2 needs a gentle hand on the lever to get them going, but copes well enough when they are moving. Now, wheres that Hudson?...

I’ve now oiled the wheels and they run much better. The lights are bright and steady: I notice on the video that they have one bulb out, which isn’t evident watching them. Couplers are all in working order, I find. 

The Hudson just walks away with them, I do like this loco. I wanted some O27 coaches for it, they look the part I think.
