Hello everyone,
I haven't been on in a while and missed not being on. I love the Lionel 44 Ton switchers, and i was wondering how many were made. Could anyone please tell me the answer or where would be the best place to look up this information?

Do you want to know how many variations Lionel made, or the production numbers? I would think the production numbers is something only Lionel knows.
To start, there were 5 different postwar variations made, #s 625-629
The 1-8905 is a Pennsylvania 44 Ton Switcher.
Cab #1955 is a Southern 44 Ton Switcher.
These are what I could find, there may be others.

Thanks Larry, for this information. Yes i was wondering how many variaition there was. I wasn't sure if there was anymore made after the Lionel Lines version.
