Lionel 497-100 Controller & Other Parts Needed | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I am looking for a 497-100 controller. Does anyone have an extra that they are not using?

Does anyone have a suggestion about how to make one until I find one? Would a pair of O22 controllers work?

I am also looking for the plunger 497-46 and a 497-56 receiving bin.

Here is the wiring for the 497:

You need two SPDT ON-OFF-ON switches. An O22C is essentially a SPDT ON-OFF-ON Switch (You will want to remove the lamps):

However, it looks like the 497 controller was based on the 1121 controller:

I've made a couple from Lionel 027 1122E switch controllers. They are everywhere. Cut off the light portion. Make labels with a label maker.
