Question for 497 Coaling Station owners (specifically Lionel 6-82026): Is there enough clearance to run a complete train, including a small engine, through the station?
Just went and checked the one on my layout think it is from the 90's. Should be the about the same dimensions. If you have the coal bin down and to the side have about 4 inches from the top of O Gauge track to the bottom of the coal chutes. The side clearance from the upright to the string on the other side is about 4 inches. A small steamer and train should be OK. Have mine on a siding so don't rally run a train through.
