I have a #56 switcher and the worm drive gear on the drive axle is completely worn out. I want to press it off and replace it however I can’t find the part number. My Lionel repair manual doesn’t show it and I haven’t been successful finding it online. Does anyone have the part number and know where I can order one?

Be sure to also address the reason for the chewed up gear. It could be the 50-120 ball bearing is not in place, or a bad cut in the 41-40 armature worm drive, lack of lubrication etc...
Thanks, The ball bearing is in place however, I suspect the nylon armature shaft bushing 41-27 might be worn and I haven’t been able to find a replacement for that yet. I did find the 41-12 worm wheel.
