I have a few pieces of 6-12073 and they have a center pin on each end and a wire under the track , looking today and the track on the  Lionel page does not have the center pin can not see the bottom so don't know about a wire.  If the track has the center pins do you remove the wire to isolate a section, understand there will be a 6-12063 at the end of the section .

Thanks

Brent

Brent;

Is this the piece you are asking about???

If so, The center pins are correct as they connect to the track on either side of this piece - the break can isolate one side from the other if you remove the “S” shaped wire underneath the piece, if the wire is in place, it connects the two sides of the center rail. Hope this helps.

Yes, this is the piece. Do I  use as is with the wire connected?

Features:

  • Includes electrically isolated center rail option for power blocks

Product Specifications:

  • Gauge: O Gauge   icon
  • Dimensions: 1 3/8"
  • Est. Ship Date: 8/26/2020

Part of my question was about the center pins, now I see in this picture that the center pins apparently have been replaced and there is not a divide line in the center rail.

Hey folks thanks for responding to my questions, I know exactly what to do , the two pictures confused me .

Thanks

Brent
