I have a Lionel 6-2317 operating drawbridge from the 70's and it works but its seems to have some trouble sometimes making contact. I watched a video on You Tube that was presented by Toy Train Tip and Tricks and the gentleman stated that sometimes the contacts get corroded because they are brass and they won't be as springy as they make full contact. He says that the contacts need to be cleaned out with some possible adjustments made to them but he doesn't go into detail of show a demonstration. Can anyone offer some tips on what parts need to be cleaned, how to clean them, and what possible adjustments could be necessary?
