The gray wire in your picture goes to ground on the 691-PCB1-10F motherboard, the black wire is the antenna wire.

This is from Rod Stewart's nice motherboard document.

BTW, your ohmmeter is a valuable tool here, you can simply put it on the suspect pin and run around and find where it goes.  That's how I usually figure out motherboard wiring.
