Lionel 6-38922 SD-40T shipped? | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I've received my Oilcan Tank Train set (6-29366) and the add-on tank cars. But, I haven't heard anything about the additional SD-40T (6-38922). It disappeared from the Lionel shipping schedule some time ago. But, I'm not aware of any dealer having them. Does anyone know if it has shipped?

I received mine well over a year ago in Jan. 2013.

I ordered both the add-on powered and non-powered units. Received the powered unit some many years ago, or so it seems. My understanding is that the non-powered unit was canceled, but I could be wrong.

I received the non-powered unit last year. Only a short run of these were made.

NVisich, Thanks for the update. I also heard that they may have deliver the non powered, your experience makes better sense.
