I have a pair of switches which are giving me an odd issue. They work fine but when I screw them down they jam. I have to back the screw by the switch stand off a turn or two to get it to work. Any ideas? The 072 Wye switch is also giving me another issue which is in a separate thread.

As Radioron said, don’t screw them down.  Screwing them down can twist the base which can bind up the moving parts.  I use Fastrack and use very few screws.  Since Fastrack snaps together tightly you don’t need screws to hold it together.  I use screws to keep everything in alignment which needs only one or two screws on straight sections and couple on curves.  Also, I leave the screws slightly loose to reduce the transmission of noise to the substructure.  You will find multiple treads about Fastrack and noise, possibly is only annoying characteristic.
