I have a 6-81954 Command switch and its giving me signal problems. I've extended the antenna and ran a wire from the base to the terminal block when I have the common line for auxiliary power and nothing, not even putting my hand over the switch help. The switch works fine on my workbench with TMCC but it doesn't on my layout with legacy. The remote control function works great just not the command part. Any ideas?

Any help?
@gunrunnerjohn any ideas?
Maybe needs an earth ground wire. I was having problems with my command control switches not working and that fixed the problem.
I'd try Howard's idea, run an earth ground next to the switch.

Alright. I've never ran one, how do I do it?
Just take a ground lead from the 3rd prong of the outlet and lay it next to the switch.

Can I use a #22 Stranded wire?
Any size wire works, #30 will work.

Just ran it and no change. I just attached the wire to an open outlet on my power strip, should I attach it to the ground lead on the power supply for the legacy base?

What should I do now, would moving the wire to the ground on the power supply for the legacy base help?
Any other ideas? @Howard Reed @gunrunnerjohn
Fixed it! I backed the screws I had securing the switch off a few turns and now it works with command again.
