Anyone know if the Burlington Northern version has a beacon on top. The only thing I can find are the stock catalog photos which are not always 100% accurate.

Thank you SuperChiefer for the picture, looks really cool. Might be my first Lionel Legacy engine in a long time. MTH doesn't seem to want to make these switchers in BN green, or at least it's been quite a while.
I have the Chessie System version of the Legacy SW7. The slow-speed operation is incredible! As has been mentioned on the Forum, some of the SW7s--including mine--left the factory with insufficient lubrication in the gearboxes. This was easily remedied because Lionel designed in a grease port in each truck--a nice feature to have in any case.
