hello all. I have in the past needed to add rollers to the diecast sprung trucks. ebay has that part it is # 610-9050-155 roller bracket. I have experienced these brackets cracking while pressing into place they usually crack on one side or the other. is there any such tool that can press these into place without cracking?

Try a little heat to soften the plastic before you press them in.
thanks John. I thought of that as those are a bit stubborn pressing into place but those only go onto the spring trucks that I probably won’t build onto anymore and from what i’ve heard the sprung trucks are or have been discontinued. the one piece bentendorf I think are better
I've put a number of those in, and I haven't broken one yet. I had a couple I had to heat up to get it all together.
i’ll do that if I build any more of those. one nice thing with the sprung truck and that roller bracket is keeping the roller further away from the axle. I had one truck go into a short as the uncoupler magnet pulled the roller into the axle
darn, I needed at least two more of the 9050-155 and the last source I knew of no longer has them and smittys has a 40 dollar minimum anybody have about four or more for sale?
@rebuilder, the new Sponsor, S&W, list them on their parts page for $0.95 each: http://www.sandwparts.com/Parts%20List/6-XXXX-XXX.pdf
