Did the modern reproduction 6407 flat car with the rocket ever come with the sterling pencil sharpener in the nose?

No sharpener on new issue.

Lionel did not want to pay Sterling for the pencil sharpener in the capsule but a few were supplied with the capsule at first. They would be very rare and it would be hard to prove capsules with the pencil sharpener were supplied with the rocket.

On my homemade Lionel 6407 rocket, seen below, I used my homemade Mercury space capsule from my homemade Lionel 6413 Mercury Capsule transporting car. It is detachable from the rocket.
