Can anyone help me identify the vintage of a Lionel Set I acquired some years ago and put in storage until recently. It came in modern boxes labelled California Zephyr Cars, which it definitely is not. It is identical in appearance to my original brown and yellow 752 set except it is silver in colour. The condition suggests to me that it is a 1980’s era repop, but it could also be a well done customization. Any information would be appreciated.
By the way, I am the Bluecomet390 that was on this board years ago. After several fruitless attempts to resurrect that account, it was just simpler to start a new one. Hence the Bluecomet391.
