(I have wondered about putting an angled piece of tubing in the others' whistle smoke outputs!)

I believe we have a forum member (St.Paul) that did just that to his VL BB.  I haven't seen it in person, but he posted photos of it somewhere here.  I really need to get in touch with him so we can go double head ours again.

Hey, thanks for the head's up and I found his post over on another thread: https://ogrforum.com/...77#41271596089896877

His fix is simple and although I don't like the look I might try something like it. I've borrowed his photo of the part he made to alter the smoke flow:

BTW, would really like to see someone's photos or video of a Daylight AC-9.

Hmmm........sounds like the moguls got an SP style whistle too

Thats the same whistle tone used in the JLC and Lionmaster cab forwards, to be exact.

Honestly, basing the new whistle off the TMCC version, I think it's pretty decent and a close quillible version.

Thanks!  That's a great demo video, Thomas.  The smoke!  Geezus!  Do you have an exhaust fan to clear the room?

What, me worry?

No problem.

It shows up on my computer as a "3gp" format, which I'm not familiar with. I'm posting it here, anyway, but I don't think it's playable - my apologies in advance for my lack of computer knowledge.

Not sure how you got 3gp from an iPhone.  That's the super old flip phone video format for sending videos over text messages.  You can just plug your iPhone into a computer and drag the video off of it in the future.  I do it all the time with mine.  Thanks for the video.

Sinclair - I usually do that at home, but I was at my office and didn't have a cable and decided to send the video from my iPhone 7 to my office computer via text message and that's how it came up as a "3gp". I then went on the internet via Safari on the iPhone and sent it as an e-mail attachment and it came up clearer as an "mov".  Looks like I'll need to get a cable for my office !
