Lionel AF hHorn and bell activation with American Models transformer

I believe that this transformer will operate the horn and bell on the PAs, the EP5 only has a horn, no bell. I have an American Models B unit and I can operate its bell and horn with the Lionel Legacy system so I think the reverse would also be true.

The AM sound activation button on their transformer will activate the horn on a Lionel EP-5.  I have the EP-5, but I don't have any Lionel ALcos, so I cannot say for sure if their sound will activate, but I don't see any reason why it shouldn't.

Just following up to confirm that the AM SDK-2053  did activate teh horn in LTI MoPac PA and New Haven EP-5.
