Hello guys and gals.........
We are buying a Lionel Amtrak GG1 set with 7 cars. Does anyone know how to keep the Aluminum cars shiny and clean ? Is a automotive wax the right thing to use on the metal surfaces but not on the plastic parts such as the car ends and doors and painted surfaces? What do you guys use ?

You're gonna laugh... Good old H2o with a microfiber cloth keeps em looking sharp. Simple, free, and effective!
