I was starting to think about a 2018 American Flyer catalog. One of the things we have not seen in a while is some operating accessories. I noticed that Lionel has been reissuing some older O scale accessories but this time with sounds. And I was thinking, why not do the same with American Flyer. This would use existing tooling but just adding a new feature to it. It might be appealing to Lionel as the reissue cost may be minimal. As such I thought I would ask the group what they would nominate as the one accessory they would have Lionel reissue with sound.
My first thought was for the Cattle loader where Lionel tried to reissue this in the past but there were not enough orders. Maybe now with sounds this would make this purchase more desirable.
Others could include the Animated People station (with crowd sounds), The sawmill (Buzzsaw sounds), The Barrel Loader (with Truck sounds) etc.
What do you all think?
