Is it Eastern Division TCA approved for use at York?
Yes Chris! :-)
Wow, I will make this a must for their coming TCA YORK meet. Will your booth be in the Orange Hall? Thanks a Lot.
I saw one of these last York or maybe last spring at the Lionel booth. I was told it was a production sample that was rejected because it couldn't hold enough weight and would not be released at that time. I guess they got it up to specs.
I always wanted one so I guess I'll pick up a few.
Sorta looks like my newspaper bag I had, when I had my paper route in the 60's.
I like it. Something different. I just ordered 2 of them.
Ordered, I shall be stylin at york
It won't match my shoes.

Is that a joke question...or serious? Are they that strict at York? Reminds me of the Seinfeld Soup Nazi. Would like to go to York, but afraid I might offend someone with a non approved bag or something.

It is a joke, ChessieMD, but not too far-fetched. The York TCA show has a laundry list of assorted rules & regulations that vendors & attendees must follow. But I am sure that none of them concern the use of an orange Lionel bag.
Will there be a BTO Vision Line version of this bag????
Gotta get these to use for grocery shopping!

Hmmm, that bag seems rather oversized to be considered O gauge.
Is it Legacy-equipped or conventional?

Just wait John, I hear they are introducing it in a Daylight Scheme!

It's half joke, half serious. Every so often they change their minds about what can be carried in, banning backpacks was the last change. These should be a nice replacement for my backpack
Aghhhhh MAN BAG! .
When did they first make these? I have one around here somewhere that I've had for 15 - 18 years now...
Perhaps it too is a 'pre production' sample?
I wonder how many defective smoke unit motors it would take to fill that bag......
