Probably, the bumper has to swap the leads to the motor. So as long as the smaller ERR board can handle the rapid switching of the motor leads when the bumper makes contact it should work.
OF course the TMCC motor driver in the mini might not like the rapid polarity change and burn up a motor FET. G
Add a mode switch that bypasses the ERR boad? TMCC or conventional bump-n-go
