If i move my allegheny by hand a few inches forward it has a slight grind. It sounds like thers a tooth not making good contact. But if i mover it backwards totally smooth. Also when it under power its seems okay Dose anyone else have this issue i did grease the easy to reach gear boxes. Dose any one else have this issue? I was thinking about asking lionel is didn't know if it was just a design flaw or something else. Ill try to post pictures or videos later

Why do you need to push it? Is the power out at your house?
You are probably meshing the gears when you push it...
I hear Lionel has this great train set called Imagineering. You can push the train around the track. Might want to give that a try.

Ok that was funny ..
Just to be the first to say it: do NOT push modern expensive scale-model - or RailKing or Lionmaster or the like - locomotives. They are not 1950's toys and are not designed to be pushed. Some will have gears that allow the wheels to turn, some will not (depends on the design), but NONE are meant to be pushed.
If you do, and damage results, there will be no sympathy from this corner.
Okay i wont push it at all i was just making sure its okay
