While connecting to my sd70 via Bluetooth it shows up in the lion chief app as a Brookshire 1225 steam engine. Anyone know why that would be ?

See my answer in your other thread about a question for Rudy.
I had this happen before when I got my H10. The id’s are part of the app. If it’s not updated it won’t display correct one. Also even after I updated To latest version it was wrong. Lionel told me to delete app, reinstall latest. It worked and engine showed up correctly. Give that a try it’s quick and easy to delete app and install it again.

i deleted the app. And reinstalled it, still incorrect. My engine is a brand new release from lionel and they may not have updated the app on their end yet. Ill give it a month or so and try again. Your explanation sounds very reasonable and acceptable to me thanks again
That could be as I think it was Dave from Lionel that told me the app has to be updated with the new engines as they come out, it doesn’t read the engine the way the sensor track does and loads it to the legacy cab2. So it’s in the app.

i just received the engine this week. The Lion chief app was last updated on February 24th v1.3.8x7 The engine does identify correctly in the cab 2 remote. I’m guessing that with all the shut downs and everything being in disarray with the virus they are just running behind updating the app
