Greetings everyone.!!
New to this forum.. However been playing with trains 63 of my 65 year old life...
Have had a Brand new 6-32910 Coal Tipple for about 6 years before taking out of it s box.. Never worked... Decided to disassemble and found all the internal wiring had broken off of solder connections under the three rail track. Blue Red and Green Wires are hanging . I am looking for a Wiring schematic.. I have sent Lionel this request.. But it has fallen under deaf ears....
Facing the rotating car holder drum the left side wiring I have One Red , One Blue and One Green wire hanging.. Good solder conns. on the outside contacts.. On the opposite end I have a red and a blue wire hanging.. The green wire on that side is soldered to the power center rail of the tipples track section.. Associated are the car position limit switches which each have a red wire soldered to the center terminal on the three terminal car position limit switches.. I am fairly sure that these red wires are soldered together the two center posts of each switch connected and One red wire connection supplying power to the opposite side.
Can anyone shed any light on this dilemma ..
I do plan on bypassing the car position limit circuit control and only using the led to reference car position....
Any suggestions..
Thank You In advance...
Once I get this operating I'll post pics and videos of the Combo of the Tipple and a pretty kewl Coal Loading conveyor I have build from my childhood erector sets... Urethane belting etc.
Nothing but Green Lights..
