Have the crane programmed into legacy controller as #60. When I input 60 Aux1 the controller reads crane but the keypad dosen't show the crane symbols on the remote. It shows train control symbols. When I scrolled through the system it also shows the crane as #60. I power up my track as usual with the assigned #50 hit Aux1 and move handle to 12v and then turn up the power to 12-14v with the red contol knob. I then input #60 for the crane and it comes up on the controller hit Aux1 and don't get the crane symbols. Any answers. TY, Nick

While you have ENG #60 selected, click the INFO button on the Cab-2. Under Type does it say CRN? If not, then it doesn't know it's a crane. What you name it has no bearing on the controls. To change it roll the red knob clockwise until the Type tab is in the front, then click on the soft key under the small down pointed triangle until you see CRN. Then push the soft key under CRN and it is now set as a crane and should give you the correct icons once you press the INFO button again to exit the locomotive setup menu.
Thank you. I'll give it a go. I had it working before I took down my layout and am just looking to turn the crane around so I can pack it up for sale. It is time to start moving things out. Especially when your general tells you it's time to get rid of them. She will sell all my trains for a song. Must admit she is right because I have loads of boxes to pack up for sale. This is 1/3 of what I have packed so far. Thank you again.

Sorry to hear you're being forcibly downsized. And I'd offer to buy the crane off you if you had the matching sound car for it, but sadly I lost my job so I have no train money. You probably have several other buildings in there I'd want for my layout too. Oh well.
Sorry to hear that you lost your job. I do have the sound shed. Nick
I may be mistaken but the Gantry Crane does not display the symbols like the TMCC crane cars. The trackside crane does display the symbols.
