When I was at the CS center Mike was showing me the videos they are making to show how to wire the layout, accessories, phasing transformers and such. Probably not a big draw for most on the forum but a great resource for beginners!

the videos they are producing are first rate!!!
Hi Marty, I'm at work so your link is being blocked, I think it has something to do with the antiquated browser we are using. But, in any case the information you mentioned is good for everyone to look at.
I wish I had a dollar for everytime I had to go back to my school books, or go on the internet to find a formula or some other technical data I needed to complete a project.
Just yesterday I was reading on this site about a Toroidal Transformer, that is the type the new ZW-L is and I had to laugh because I had to go on line to read up on how it worked.
It all comes back to you, but when you don't use something everyday you do tend to lose it.
Sometimes it can't hurt to look back to get our facts strait before we move forward.
MArio,
The videos are hosted on YouTube, a lot of business black YouTube since its kind of a time waster. It's unlikely its browser related
The only problem I have with the videos is that they are not really promoted well on Lionel's website. This to me is a valuable resource and should really be a headliner on their home page.
Marty;
Not only a good resource for beginners but also a good refresher for the more experienced among us.
The only problem I have with the videos is that they are not really promoted well on Lionel's website.
That certainly is a problem. When I first went looking for these videos, I spent (or rather wasted) a lot of time on Lionel's site looking for links to the videos. I eventually gave up and went directly to YouTube and found them after a little more searching.
These videos would be a great resource for newcomers who are not yet "in the know" about where to go to find this type of info.

Andy,
I initially had the same issue trying to locate them on the Lionel website.
It was finally pointed out to me they are located under "service documents" right under the document categories box in red listed as "New" "instructional video's".
Upon checking little box and clicking on instructional video's you end up to what appears to be a zillion instructional video's many of which I had not seen before.
However, upon trying to search for the new ZW-L video inserting the name and part number it put me into a TMCC video with Mike going over all the power options and not the ZW-L. I suspect since the product has not shipped as of yet it is only located up on YouTube for the moment and will eventually find its way to their site.
Anyway, that is what I have found with the instructional videos as not exactly obvious to the obvious although I seem to always have issues trying to find things on the service site which is just probably me.
Best Regards,

Although as you said the video seems to be missing or bad link.
