Today, I received the New York Central LEGACY Scale J3a Hudson 4-6-4 Steam Locomotive #5429 w/ Steamlined Tender I had on order. Seemed like for ever, maybe it was. I quickly opened the box, took a quick look and like the 115th Anniversary Berkshire, this is a absolutely beautiful engine and tender. I can't wait to put it on the rails tommorrow. I plan to pull the CCII ESE cars, now I am wondering if I whould have purchased the full set. At any rate, great looking enigine - Perfect for an early Christmas

I am hoping that the KCS Southern Belle that I have on order arrives tomorrow. If it does she will take work orders as well.

Did anyone get charged on there credit cards for the es44s yet ?

I can't remember which credit card I used when I ordered my 4 ES44's from Nassau Hobby.  I sent them an e-mail to see if they could tell me which card I used.  Here is part of the reply I received:

"es44's are due in either christmas eve or the week after xmas we will contact you when they come in"

So, I don't think anyone who ordered from Nassau Hobby should have been charged for the ES44's, yet.

It seems my credit card has a pre-auth for the ES44's I ordered from Charlie Ro that hit on Sunday.  When I returned home tonight, I noticed an email alert from Fed-Ex... ES44's will arrive on Santa's sleigh December 24!!!   Charlie's place must be a mad-house with all the stuff shipping out yesterday/today.    Seriously, I wonder how many Fed-Ex and UPS trucks were needed to haul shipments destined for customers this week.

I ordered mine from Mr muffins as I didn't ordered mine early enough from Charles to.. So I am assuming it's gonna be another week for me.  Starting to regret not buying the Empire State express set considering I am a NYC fan.

Alex,

I was going to change my order to the full set, but since I had the CCII car's I decided not to do with the full set. I may regret it later but with the 115 Anniver. Berk, the J3A NYC, the CSX Clinchfield Heritage unit (the AC6000), the KCS Southern Belle and the new / old CCII NYC Niagara Milt Train...... Maybe I should have spent the extra bucks on the entire set especially because the lighting is LED and I just realized, you can't get the Cars separately I am doomed to run CCII cars.

Can't wait for the video.

I plan to head to NJHirailers tomorrow or Wednesday for a break in session.

I got a Fed x message on Mon saying something is on the way.....I wish Charles Ro would send an email to the customer to say what is coming, instead of getting notified by Fedx and then finding a charge on your credit card the next day....I have multiple things on order from Ro, so it would be nice if I know what was coming......

Check your Charles Ro shipping alerts closely... they often have the Charles Ro Order Number listed.  And from that you may be able to narrow down -- or even completely determine -- what's being shipped.  It's not perfect, but it'll get you darn close.  Then there's the package shipping weight... and also a credit card pre-auth that you can check too.  It's all part of the fun investigative work to guess what's headed your way.

I have no problem  telling what is coming from ro.

Take a look at Alex's posting today, I go the engine because I had the CCII cars, I think I should have gone the extra $ for the set but then I would have had to buy the additional 2 car set,

Thanks - the engine is great puts the CCII engine to shame- Glad I sold it. Especially since my CCII Niagara blew the drive shaft and gears yesterday and it is sidlined
