anyone have pic's of its drive unit i seem to be missing parts for it mine lights up but doesn't move the dispatcher

Is it wired correctly? If not wired correctly, it wont activate the vibrotor motor. Can you post a pic of yours?
it vibrates but there is a string and spring insde thats not attached on one end and the dispatcher movement isn't attached to anything either it looks to be missing a geared piece. where the string attaches to the frame by vibrater theres a plastic wheel with a gear on the side. And the dispatcher spin mech isn't hooked to anything to make him spin
It would be nice if LIONEL re-issued this accessory with the added enhancement of sound to match the announcement board as it rotated around for the train arrivals.

MTH has issued the rotating board with out the sound. Looks identical to the one Lionel had because Mike created the original for Lionel many years ago.
Mike DID NOT CREATE THE ORIGINAL FOR LIONEL. HE COPIED LIONELS ORIGINAL...
its all there the string won't stay on looks like theres a nick in the plastic wheel causine it to come off all long with its off center to the armaure ading the spring with pulling it off. Is there a replacement wheel for it. anyone else had these issues with it. the sound would be nice even if they could retro fit it to the original
None of the parts with the exception of the horns on top are available by any parts dealers. I would either buy a junker for the parts, or try to fix the wheel with liquid plastic.

LOL I do not even think Mike was a gleam in mom and dad's eye when the original came out. If he was he might had been a Zygote
Anyway I have one, its mostly there be the Airex sign has a crack in it, never found any parts for it though, even junk ones seem to go for high dollar
