The Legacy engines are all using bright white leds for the headlight. I wonder if I can convert the headlight in my PRR M1a to led to make it brighter.
Only issue I can see is that the current bulb also lights up the number boards on the side of the headlight housing. Would an LED light up the number boards as well?
My Legacy GP9 headlight is very bright, it has separate lighting for the number boards and markers.
I also have a WBB E7 with a single LED and it lights up the number boards as well. It's not as bright as the GP9 LED, so I would think it would light up your M1a just fine as long as nothing (like a headlight housing) is blocking the line-of-sight of the LED.
