Hello everyone, I saw these had a delivery date for October. Did anyone hear from Lionel at York if they are still on track for this date? Were there any models on display? Thank you.

The catalog doesn't do them justice. They look awesome!
Lionel shipping schedule, updated today (10/17) shows them shipping in December.
I ordered the UP and I can't wait to check out its legacy sounds.
Also want to put Kadees on it.

I pre-ordered a CN and Oct was the ship date. Now you say Dec. Oh well, what's a couple of months?

Yes... And Lionel had a Nov 2014 ship date for the CSX, and a Nov 2015 ship date for the CN. 
I figured the 2015 date was a typo, but perhaps not -- since today's Lionel shipping schedule update is already showing a two-month slip to Dec 2014 for the ES44's that were originally listed as October 2014. 
Whenever these thing ship, they look fantastic! And they were BTO, so you should put your name on one (or two) from dealers who ordered "extras".

Are those Radial-Steering trucks on the CSX ES44AC? If yes, that is great!
Thank you everyone for the info, and the pics. Yeah I think the site was updated yesterday and said Oct. Before that I could swear it said Dec. and now it's back to Dec.

Yup, already got the UP's (both #'s) ordered and paid for. The CSX's look great but I already have the MTH version with the boxcar logo.

Is it just my imagination or does the CSX ES44AC have the wrong high-adhesion trucks & the headlights in the wrong location?

The trucks are different from the prototype as is the location of the headlight...
