I currently have fast track and planning on a large layout with either gar grave or atlas. I would like to get a piece of each. The question is would those two tracks connect to fast track?
there are adapters for virtually any type of track. fastrack has the roadbed built in so it will be higher than Atlas or Gargraves, still easily adapted.
You can either buy transition Fastrack pieces or cut the Fastrack and put pins in to connect. The Gargraves needs 3/16" roadbed under it to mate with the Fastrack. I put Gargraves across an MTH arch bridge for better looks and it worked well with back to Fastrack on both ends. Gargraves has offset pins to make the connection. I don't have experience with Atlas
IMO you might want to take a real hard look at Ross and let the Atlas & GG track & switches alone, Ross is much nicer modern stuff with all the goodies, if you like something similar, use the old K-Line Super Snap (RMT).
