The small switch stands on my two Lionel Fasttrack O36 manual turnouts easily come off. Can this direction lever be glued on? Is there a better alternative? Is a stout replacement available?
They are so fragile, I like to be able to remove them for storage or transport, or if they are located in an area on the layout where they have a tendency to get hit or snagged.
I found online a "new & improved" round knob version of this replacement (metal) switch stand for a Lionel O36 manual turnout. An excellent solution - especially helpful for hobbyists with youngsters who may break the factory plastic switch stand.
