OK, this is for Swafford who wanted Lionel to do the FRISCO in GP40's.  Here are the SD40's in Frisco.  They look sweet, run great and are among my newest favorites.  This engine looks awsome pulling the FRISCO silver Cylindrical Hoppers...

I hope to see more Red and White Frisco locomotives, having lived in St. Louis for 12 years and a fan of Western Railroads, FRISCO is a favorite...

I made some great Video of these running, but cant get it to post yet...  I will keep trying.  But I finally got a new layout together, so will be posting more now...

Yes, this is the start (phase 1) of the new layout.  It is eventually gonna be 35ft x 48ft in two basement rooms.  This is the unfinished room where the rail yard will be and the shelf storage.  It will stay unfinished because of the tax man.

The other room is fully finished and it will feature dramatic rocky mountains.  The tracks will run from room to room so you can get different sitting areas and different views to enjoy the trains.  I have just completed this part of the layout and now decided to make a big change...  so the evolution has already begun!

That dash 2 model is like 12 years old now and it still looks great.  I just wish Lionel would update it though with thinner hand-rails and add cut-levers to the pilots.  Also it looks 150% cooler if you add the plow from the Rio Grande T-2 for $4.  You just have to drill two small holes into the pilot and maybe swap out the MU cables (not 100% necessary).

Are they still painting the frames of the sliding windows silver?  My Soo (1st run) doesn't have them, and my CP (2nd run) does.  I wish I could get them added to the Soo, but they look way to difficult to remove inside the shell.

great suggestion...  I would like to add the snow plows.  I think these sliding windows are unpainted...
