To all those more experienced than me- I'm looking at some MPC or LTI era full vista domes, and it appears that several have domes that are warped at the top, in the middle. Is this a known issue? Thanks!

First time I've heard of the dome itself warping. Now I'm wondering if the frosted insert on the first run has ever warped on anyone's car?

Do you have light bulbs on the interior roof of the dome? If so the lamp heat can do it. FWIW, line the interior of the dome with aluminum foil to act as a heat sink as well as s light deflector.
You should see the ones on the Marx full domes, or any of the AMT domes.

This is particularly true if you run these on command at a consistent 18 volts. They were designed to run in conventional mode at a lot less voltage. Hence heat can be a big issue. I have an mth full vista dome with slight waves over each bulb. To compound the heat issue, MTH forgot to install the heat reflective tape on this car. As suggested, foil is much better... Or Leds!
Have not seen it, though no one I know runs those cars at fixed 18volts. Pictures?
