I think there is a failure to communicate.
Maybe production could be moved to where communication and quality control are in sync. JMHO

5 & 6 were the Argonaut that ran from New Orleans to LA. That would be good if you got the T&NO version.
@PH1975 posted:JohnB - Just a reminder for future reference, his name is spelled Bruk (lol) - although the man is a wonderful Brute when he alters various engines. ☺️😜
Have a great day!
PS - I was going to give you the benefit of the doubt that it's because the 't' on the keyboard is very close to the 'k', but then I checked my keyboard and unless you've got deformed hands, that wasn't the reason for you misspelling his name (lol).
PH1975,
I am going to claim the problem was the spell check but Bruk is not a word so it must have been just a typo. My wife tells me it is my mind that is deformed I tend to agree with her. My hands are OK. You have a great day too.

My Vision Line GS-1 #4470 is great except for those very bright train number boards! Does anyone have any ideas how to just tone down the bright light?

Turn them off since there are no numbers in them anyway.

I’d love to just turn them off. However, they’re powered directly from the track as pointed out earlier in this thread by Steam Loco Greg. And I really don’t want to cut the wires to them.
Cut some vellum or other frosted plastic and apply it over the number boards.
Yeah, I noticed that on mine. Of course, the pictures in the catalog show them clear, so I didn't feel I had been misled.
I love mine and am not concerned about that, or the lack of a builders plate on the loco, either.
Did anyone notice that the boiler face is a lighter shade than the rest of smoke box?
Thanks @Bruk I didn't know that was what they did. I was happy to learn that. I just received my engine yesterday. Did you end up making your own numbers for the train indicator boards? Also, are you going to make your own builder's plate. Thanks for sharing your expertise! I appreciate it.
